New Patient Appointments $175
Our initial 90-minute visit allows us additional time to explore your health history and current concerns, develop an individualized treatment plan, and begin care with your first treatment. Sessions may include Acupuncture, Cranial Sacral bodywork, Gua Sha, Cupping, or any other supportive modalities offered at Star + Needle, depending on your individual needs and preferences.
Herbal consultation is included when Chinese herbal medicine is part of your care, however the cost of herbal formulas is additional and varies by formula.
Follow-Up Appointments $120
Our 60-minute follow up visits allow us time to check in, make any adjustments to your individualized treatment plan as needed, and continue care. Sessions may include Acupuncture, Cranial Sacral bodywork, Gua Sha, Cupping, or any other supportive modalities offered at Star + Needle, depending on your individual needs and preferences.
Herbal consultation is included when Chinese herbal medicine is part of your care, however the cost of herbal formulas is additional and varies by formula.
In-Home Appointments $200
In-home visits are available for established patients who may benefit from receiving care in the comfort of their own home within the Portland, Oregon area. These visits are particularly suited for patients navigating mobility limitations, significant illness, surgical recovery, or palliative end-of-life care. Treatments incorporate any of the supportive modalities offered at Star + Needle as appropriate.

Insurance + Payment:
Star + Needle is currently a cash-based practice while we are in the process of credentialing with insurance companies. Payment is due at the time of service. Credit/debit cards and HSA/FSA cards are accepted. Sliding-scale pricing is available for cash-pay patients. Please inquire if needed.
For patients with out-of-network acupuncture benefits, a superbill can be provided upon request for submission to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
