Hello and Welcome to Star + Needle Acupuncture! My name is Kelsie Hammitt, I am a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc) and Professional Astrologer practicing in Portland, Oregon. Rooted in Classical Chinese Medicine and Western Astrology, Star + Needle is my integrative practice where I offer individualized care for those navigating complex chapters of life.
I utilize the rich modalities of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, and Biodynamic Cranial Sacral in support of complex and chronic illness, major life transitions, grief and loss, and everything in between. In our one-on-one session, we can weave together multiple modalities or simply work with the form of care that is of greatest comfort and support to your system.
Star + Needle also brings my clinical work together with Alchemy Astrology, my established Professional Astrology practice. I offer individual readings, consultation, monthly newsletters, and embodied group work rooted in Relational, Traditional, and Medical Astrology. Astrology can remain an entirely separate offering or, for those who are interested, become another lens through which we explore the patterns, transitions, and seasons unfolding alongside your health and life.

Acupuncture + Integrative Care
Individualized, hands-on care for complex illness, chronic conditions, and for all the ways our meaningful chapters of life take shape in the body. Sessions are rooted in Classical Chinese Medicine integrating Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal medicine, Cranial Sacral bodywork, guasha, cupping, moxibustion, and homeopathic remedies.

Astrological Support:
In-depth Astrological consultations with Kelsie are offered in in-person or virtually, including Natal Chart, Solar Return Chart, Transit and Forecast, Death Chart, and Relational Synastry Readings. Kelsie also offers Embodied Chart Readings that utilize somatic techniques to physically explore the chart, as well as Integrative sessions that combine Acupuncture and Astrology. Across these offerings, we explore the relationships between Sky and Body, meeting whatever chapter of life or crossroads you may find yourself navigating.
